Refund and Cancellation Policy

This policy governs cancellation eligibility, refund calculations, reversal timelines, and dispute handling for bookings made through Xouple.
1. Cancellation Eligibility
Cancellation windows, partial refund thresholds, and non-refundable portions are determined by the active policy attached to the listing and booking context. Different offerings may have different policy tiers. Once a service has been substantially delivered or consumed, refunds may be reduced or denied unless required by law.
2. Platform Fee and Commission Treatment
Platform fee and commission handling may vary based on booking status, cancellation timing, payment state, and fraud-risk checks. For eligible cancellations, net refundable amount is computed according to applicable policy and operational rules. Where a booking is cancelled due to platform safety action or verified vendor-side non-performance, Xouple may process full or enhanced refunds subject to evidence and investigation.
3. Vendor No-Show or Service Failure
If a vendor fails to provide the booked service materially as promised, customers should report the issue promptly with booking ID and supporting evidence. Verified no-show or severe service failure cases are prioritized for review and may result in full or partial refunds, credits, or corrective remediation at Xouple's discretion.
4. Payment Reversal Timelines
Approved refunds are initiated to the original payment instrument where possible. Final credit timelines are controlled by banks, card networks, UPI systems, and payment gateways, and may vary by provider. Xouple cannot guarantee exact bank posting times once a valid reversal has been initiated.
5. Chargebacks and Abuse
Fraudulent refund requests, policy abuse, fabricated claims, or abusive chargebacks may result in booking denial, account restrictions, recovery actions, and legal reporting where required. Xouple may request evidence and suspend settlement until review is complete.
6. How to Raise a Refund Request
Submit requests through official support channels with booking reference, timeline, issue details, and relevant evidence. Delayed or incomplete requests may affect resolution speed and outcome.
7. Policy Changes
Xouple may update this policy for legal, product, or operational reasons. The policy visible at booking time generally applies to that booking unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
